ESCAPE is a lifestyle magazine aimed primarily at international visitors to Japan, introducing luxurious and unique experiences as well as carefully curated information specific to Japan. It is a special publication featuring beautiful photographs and high-quality writing, designed to make visitors’ stays in Japan even more unique and memorable. It will be available starting July 3 in all MK Taxi and MK Hire vehicles nationwide, as well as in the executive lounges of select hotels.

This is a bag crafted exclusively for you, embodying a form and shape found nowhere else in the world—a fusion of the warmth of a 200-year-old linden tree and the artistic sensibility of its creator, Yuuki Kamei. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted one by one by Yuuki Kamei, who serves as both designer and artisan.

We are showcasing pieces that cannot be fully appreciated through a screen—including the warmth of the wood’s grain, items crafted from exceptionally rare and lustrous materials, and sculptural works—that are not typically displayed at general exhibitions. Please take your time to relax while directly experiencing the atmosphere of the atelier where this story began. We welcome one group per day, serving tea as you enjoy a moment of tranquility.
