Beware of Counterfeit Products

By 亀井勇樹

We have confirmed the existence of counterfeit products that are difficult to distinguish at first glance.

Several customers have inquired whether a particular bag is an authentic work by Yuuki Kamei, the creator of "KINOKABAN," which led us to discover these counterfeit items.

In many cases, such products are acquired through gifts, auctions, resale transactions, or as inherited items, with little to no information about their origin or seller. They are often so similar in appearance that it is hard to tell the difference. Each KINOKABAN is the result of years of trial and error by its creator. Seeing these counterfeit products fills us with deep sadness.

For Customers Who Own KINOKABAN

If you are concerned about whether your KINOKABAN is authentic, we can verify it using the serial number and photos of your bag. Please feel free to contact us at any time.

For Customers Planning to Purchase

Our products are sold exclusively through the official online store, our Yatsugatake atelier, and exhibition venues. If you encounter KINOKABAN at other locations, there is a possibility that it may be counterfeit. Please exercise caution when making a purchase. For added peace of mind, you are welcome to contact us before purchasing.

If you come across a product that you suspect may be counterfeit, we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with information. We are committed to addressing such issues appropriately.

We apologize for any concerns this situation may cause and sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you for your support.
